Garage-to-Garage Billing

Garage-to-Garage Billing is an industry-standard accounting method where the client is billed for the total duration a limousine is deployed away from its primary operating yard or base facility. Under this billing framework, the clock starts running the moment the chauffeur completes their pre-trip inspection and drives the vehicle out of the company garage, and it stops only when the vehicle returns to the yard and parks. This practice is most frequently applied to long-distance charters originating outside core urban hubs, such as a Vancouver-based limousine traveling out to Chilliwack or Hope for a pickup. BC operators utilizing this method must transparently disclose the calculated travel time to the client during the initial booking agreement, as governed by the provincial consumer protection regulations outlined in Rule 18.
